Let Us Walk Together
Sunday, 10 November, 2019 - the second Magical Lantern Walk As dusk fell, a crowd 185 strong gathered outside Oakahm All Saints' Church. Lanterns began to shine brightly, friends joined up, and then the cue came, "let us walk together." Together we walked the processional route that took us to Oakham Castle, where lanterns were places in the grass circle in front of the Great Hall for all to admire. Thank you
This community building project happened with the support, help and permission given so generously by so many - a HUGE thank you to Oakham Castle, Root and Branch Out CIC, Oakham Town Council, Rutland County Council, Oakham All Saints' Church, Oakham All Saints Scouts, Café Allez, Nick Caro Photography, Tom Carlill Photography and every person who came to walk together on the second Magical Lantern Walk. |
